Aral Balkan found an interesting walkaround too. The secret is in using defer=defer in piece of javascript code which calls swfObject.

It seems not to be a problem between jquery and SWObject, but a bug of IE playing with the DOM… I think that jQuery is the detonator to this bug because its ready event.
