It is possible that the needs of your project exceed the capability of Vudu. In that case, during project setup we will determine what features need to be additionaly implemented. They will be coded during development phase.
Vudu is not a out-of-the-box rigid solution. Some parts are reusable between Vudu deployments, of course, but custom tailored solutions for our clients is how Vudu lives it's life in reality.

Yes. Working with big news agencies, we had to implement different levels of administrations for their needs. While building your web site, we can define groups of users that can access only certain parts of Vudu administration. You can have Photographers only upload and work within Pictures module. You can have writers only enter texts, comments aministrators to edit/delete comments, etc.
Yes. Every web site administrator needs to attend a short education usualy held in the Nivas office. Here you will learn all that you need to use Vudu. Do not be affraid, it is nothing complicated, but as a part of our policy to deliver complete solution to our client, you will need to attend this little school.

On sites that have high user expectancy it is impractical to query the database every time user comes to a site. That is why on such sites we cache data into static pages and display them instead of stressing the database for every user.
Administrators working in Vudu can, on demand, purge cache forcing it to be regenerated by the first user to hit the web site. Cache purging is usualy done when certain information needs to be seen immediately, not when cache natually expires.
