New Indiana Jones – artificial disaster

Author: Daemon October 16, 2008

It is not my habit to find bugs in movies, hell, I even think Aliens vs. Predator 2 is an awesome movie, but "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" is seriously one of the worst movies I have seen in a while. Tons of plot holes, retarded dialogs, no essence whatsoever, but what sets my rage going is the pure artificial method it was created. I have a feeling not a single shot was made on real location, rather in studio with computer generated backgrounds and scenery. Starting from the very beginning of the move, every scene has very bad unnatural feel about it.

Check this fake lights all around the set:

Indy small

And scenes like that just keep on hitting you, and you can literally feel your brain screaming in pain as it tries to comprehend artificiality of scenes.

  • i refuse to see it. i dont want to destroy my fond childhood memories. Yeah the Temple of Doom is hoakey, but when i was 8 it was pretty cool!

  • Yeah Daemon! WTF? I am also refusing to believe! :) I like this Indiana as any before. The aliens were not shock to me since I played 4th game (Indiana Jones And The Fate of Atlantis) back in ’92 and there you can see aliens.

However, I really can’t get over the fact how he survived the nuclear blast. :)

    ps. AVP2 sucks, IJ4 rulez! :)

  • Ok, I just watched Journey to the Center of the Earth, and I must say…. lightning and contrast errors in post-production those guys made have just ruined my experience completely. CGI sequences are too fast and contrast balance between CGI and filmed sequences made my brain delete the movie.

  • R O F L M A O L O L ! ! !
